A Time Life Books "Must See" for world travelers, Biosphere 2 is now available as part of this special "eco-focused" Day Excursion. Traveling in a fully-equipped tour vehicle, you will have the opportunity to discover first-hand the ecological diversity of the Arizona lands. At Biosphere 2 you will learn the long history of the Biosphere project. Currently used to study landscape evolution and named one of the top 50 Wonders of the World, Biosphere is most famous for its contributions to exploring space colonization. Also part of this tour is a visit to the Sky Islands, a group of mountains that have vastly different eco-systems. Over the course of 35 miles you will see five unique and distinct ecosystems or "lifezones" along with their respective birds and mammals. Truly a site to behold!
